Brief introduction:

The winch drum with spooling device is generally used in a hoisting mechanism to wind a wire rope,transmit power and turn a rotary motion into a linear motion. The surface of the drum is usually cut out out of the spiral groove to increase the contact area of the wire rope and to prevent the adjacent wire rope from rubbing against each other and to improve the service life of wire rope.
Since the drum also has the ability to arrange wire rope neatly. However, the wire rope could jump out of the groove when there is no other synergy of auxiliary mechanisms. sometimes the wire rope could be squeezed and deformed. In short, all above these will affect the use of wire rope and and drum and shorten the service life of the crane.
